Money helps. Turning up changes things.

There is a place here for

We have never once had enough hands on a distribution day. If you can give a Sunday, a skill, a warehouse corner or a company’s CSR budget โ€” there is a place for it here.

Volunteer

You do not need a skill. You need a free Sunday.

The most common thing we hear is “I would like to help but I do not know what I could actually do.” The answer is: carry things, serve food, hand over kits, and talk to people. That is most of the work.

Distributions are deliberately scheduled at weekends and in the evenings, because almost all of our volunteers have full-time jobs. Nobody is put on a rota they did not agree to, and nobody is made to feel guilty for a month they could not make.

  • Field distribution — loading, serving, handing over. The largest need, every single week.
  • Teaching & tuition — two hours of homework help does more than most people expect.
  • Medical camps — doctors, nurses, pharmacists and people to manage a queue kindly.
  • Photography & social media — documenting the work honestly, within our child protection policy.
  • Logistics & packing — the unglamorous weekday hours that make a weekend drive possible.
Students: welcome from 16 upwards with a parent’s written consent. You will always work alongside an experienced volunteer, never alone with children.

Volunteer with us

Tell us honestly what you can give. We would rather plan around the truth.

A coordinator will message you with the next distribution date and location.

CSR partnership

Countable outputs. Clean paperwork. Real photographs.

CSR committees do not need inspiring language. They need a defined scope, a per-unit cost, a delivery schedule and documentation that will survive an audit. We are used to answering to a board.

Employee engagement

We plan the distribution around your team size and handle all community coordination.

One condition, and it is not negotiable. We will not stage a distribution for a photograph, and we will not ask a family to pose holding a cheque. Everything else is open to discussion.
Donate goods

Please send only what you would be happy to receive

In-kind donations are genuinely valuable when they are usable, and a real cost to us when they are not. We would rather say this plainly than sort through bags of torn clothing in silence.

โœ… Genuinely useful

  • Clean, wearable clothing — especially warm clothing
  • New blankets, sheets and towels
  • Books, notebooks and new stationery
  • Sealed dry ration — grain, dal, oil, well within date
  • Utensils, school bags, water bottles

๐Ÿšซ Please do not send

  • × Torn, stained or heavily worn clothing
  • × Used blankets and mattresses
  • × Opened or near-expiry food
  • × Broken electronics or damaged furniture
  • × Prescription medicines from your cabinet

We collect from your door wherever we can reach. Tell us roughly what and how much, and a volunteer will arrange a time.

Tell us what you have and where. We will come to you.

Our company was looking for a CSR partner small enough that we could actually see the work. They gave us per-unit costs, a distribution plan and the 80G paperwork in one meeting. Our employees came along on the drive.

Getting involved

What people ask before signing up

No. Most of our volunteers had never done anything like this before their first Sunday. You will be paired with somebody experienced and nobody will hand you a responsibility you did not agree to.
Loading vessels or kits in the afternoon, travelling to the site, two to three hours of serving or handing over, then packing up. Physical, warm, occasionally chaotic, and over by evening.
Older children, yes, and many families do. Please talk to us first so we can put you on a route that is appropriate.
Yes, for anyone who has completed meaningful field hours. We will not issue one for a single photo-opportunity visit, and we would rather lose the volunteer than sign something untrue.
Yes, and it works well. Tell us your team size and we will plan a distribution around it, handling the community coordination ourselves.
A signed scope, the transfer, and a contact person for the reporting. We handle delivery, documentation, the utilisation certificate and the 80G paperwork.
Yes, on a banner or on materials, if you would like. What we will not do is ask a family to pose holding it. Our experience is that CSR committees respect that boundary once it is explained.
Yes. Photography editing, social media, donor communication, translation and fundraising can all be done remotely, and we are chronically short of people who can do them.
